On a recent drive to Alamosa, Colorado, I listened to a few hours of Matthew McConaughey's book Greenlights. I could be totally wrong on what the greenlight message is but, what I am gathering is that sometimes when things aren't flowing easily, then you've hit a red light. To get back to the green light, sometimes you have to change up your approach to the situation or change your perspective. I was at a red light with the podcast. I love the idea in my head, but WOOOO I did NOT expect the amount of time it would take me. In this episode, I ramble on about the podcast experience, how I am going to try and get a green light, and how a recent girl's trip brought joy to my soul. 

Let's be less formal! This week I try just talking to my mic without a prepped essay. Just bullet points and rambling. BUT, please listen to the rambling, I cut a lot of it out and tried to keep it to the good stuff. I talk about volunteer opportunities and my unfortunate distractor: Overwhelm, and how it kept me from getting involved in my community for far too long. Lastly, let's not judge me on what is sure to be terrible grammar in this episode description, it's very late and we're being less formal. 

In the first week of 2021, I finally made it to my first Toastmasters class! I've been trying to go for a few years now and I finally made it. Give the episode a listen to see how it went. 

With a short, albeit kinda gross, backstory, I share how I went from having one ambition for 2021 to 18, and then eventually realizing that I had 5 over-arching areas for intentional growth.
