    Miami versus Montana

    Miami versus Montana

We skipped this beach this summer and made our way to the mountains. These two flatlanders were awestruck by the differences not only of the views. Farm to table without even having to say so. This place is the real deal. Craft beers that upload the tradition of beer making while still standing out. Food that is simply prepared but in its simple goodness unforgettable. Service that puts the south to shame. Let's just say, we might just move there even though it is indeed a long ways from home.

    Disorderly Blondes Autism Bites

    Disorderly Blondes Autism Bites

Dining out with kids ain't easy but dining out with a child on the spectrum takes a whole new level of planning (and understanding). This week our podcast friends, the Disorderly Blondes, came over and shared with us what it takes to make the experience of eating out as a family a pleasurable one for everyone. We had way too much fun talking about a serious topic which is exactly the way these gals like it. Their podcast is enriching, informative and (at times) inappropriate, we are officially all BFFS...might have to do a new podcast called Two Blondes, a Brunette and a Bald Guy!
Towards the end of our chat they get talking about an awesome event idea called Autism Bites, for more info listen in and make sure to comment below if you still have questions.
Give them a follow (they just wrapped their first season and are on hiatus till August) and make sure to drop a review for us all.

Small business can be a piece of Cake.

Small business can be a piece of Cake.

This week we chat with long time friend and fellow business owners Sarah and Eddy Claro from The Office Cake, a cake delivery service that is better than UberEats. Sarah shares the secret recipe to her mom's famous Puerto Rican rum cake which is the staple of her products and discusses how overcoming a brain tumor changed the course of her life and led her to the food industry. The amazing thing is that she created a work life balance that exists for few in the business and she shares it all with us on this very special episode.
