Tea and Cake - Jason Kwan
On this episode of Tea and Cake, we’re having a natter with singer, show producer, model, head of Lady Gaga’s little monsters and member of the Bitten Peach family, Jason Kwan.
We chat about being a Lady Gaga super fan, growing up as a LGBTQ+ kid in Hong Kong, and finding and creating your chosen family. We also talk about how Jason found his voice through music and glam rock, as well as his work with akt (Albert Kennedy Trust).
This episode does also discuss suicide and racism, so this a warning if this is a triggering subject for you.
This episode was recorded after Jason released a video on Instagram about racism towards the asian community spurred by the #StopAsianHate campaign, but before the horrible mass shootings in Atlanta.
In our quiz, 4,3,2,1 we discover their favourite LGBTQ+ creators, venues, events, music artists and their unsung hero.
