Unsung Connor Abene

Lazar has one of the most amazing backgrounds of any person I have ever met. Growing up in Serbia he battled through a tremendous amount of adversity to establish himself as an entrepreneur with 2 exits before migrating to the states. He has used courage, drive and empathy to become a successful entrepreneur and a great friend.

Andrew and I met about 11 months ago via LinkedIn and since then a wonderful friendship has flourished. Andrew is locked in when it comes the b2b. Andrew discusses how having a full time job, building a start-up and having new born is possible. We got really deep on this episode on family and what really matters to him. Andrew is a wonderful human and someone I am honored to know!

Courtney Werner and I had a wonderful conversation starting with entrepreneurship and what has molded her into the incredible person she is. As you will recognize, Courtney is the sister of Caryn Werner who was an earlier guest on the Unsung Podcast. They are co-founders with there father of Koya Innovations. It was really interesting to see how growing up nearly identical circumstances produced daughters with similar motivations but such different life experiences. Bernando and I spend a lot of time discussing entrepreneurship and the grit required to be successful. He goes into depth about how being a door-to-door salesman allowed him to find the determination required to scale and sell 3 businesses.

Evan has become a good friend due to our mutual paths of becoming the best versions of ourselves. We have the same foundation in investing and business but also a similar mindset on life. Evan talks a lot about how he pushes himself to try new ways to get more out of his days. He discusses his morning routine starting with meditation and also a morning fast. We really talked mostly about how personal life and business life work together more than most people think.

Caryn and I had a wonderful conversation about entrepreneurship, risk and family. It was so much fun getting to know her story and providing a platform to share her incredible path to starting her business. She grew up discussing entrepreneurship around the kitchen table and I believe that shaped her in so many ways. She is a wonderful human and provided so much life in this conversation.
