    180511 VOC Dan Crenshaw Final Mix

    180511 VOC Dan Crenshaw Final Mix

    VOC Radio is BACK and we re-Launch with a vengence. This week's guest is Dan Crenshaw. US Navy SEAL (LtCDR Ret.) combat wounded Veteran who enrolled into Harvard Graduate School following his medical retirement after serving 10 years with the Teams. Soon after his graduation with his Masters in Government Policy, a new opportunity presented itself to run for one of the few Congressional seats for his Hometown base of Houston, TX.

    Positioned as a "long-shot" candidate, Dan employed his tenacious SEAL Team work ethic establishing a fast grass-roots momentum. In March, the election for the Republican Candidacy saw him pitted against two well-funded establishment candidates as well as an additional field of seven more candidates. On election day, Dan established himself in a very strong 3rd place after early voting and the election day turnout voted in large mass for Dan. A majority position was prevented and when the smoke cleared, the top two candidates by vote were Dan and what would now be his main competitor.

    Dan joins us in our NEW STUDIOS in the Dynamic Munitions offices. This is a show you do NOT want to miss. We talk about Dan's Navy years, his transition, his time at Harvard and what motivated him to pursue a new career in Public Service.

    To fight for the interests of, and protect the honor of, the United States Military & Veteran community by:

    1. Defend and be the voice of United States' military and veterans community from elected officials and government bureaucrats that discriminate, defame, or otherwise harm our community and its members;

    2. To inform and educate our elected officials and agency officials against taking any actions or promoting any statements/positions that may cause undue harm to members of the military and its veterans;

    3. To dissuade fellow veterans from working against their own community’s interest for monetary compensation;

    4. To effectively advocate for legislation in Congress and in every statehouse to promote veterans issues but also to fight against any legislation that is detrimental;

    5. To counteract the promulgation of dis/misinformation by special interest groups which has led to the deterioration of military tradition over the last two decades;

    6. Pursue passage of the Veterans Equal Access Act in the U.S. Congress. The proliferation of prescription opioids and other medicines within the VA system has become rampant and over-used, resulting in thousands of veterans living life in a “zombie-like” state, or worse, dying. It is time that the federal agency tasked with “taking care of those who have borne the battle” provide other options that have been proven to help ease the mental and physical pain our veterans endure.
