Connie Duffin, the host of the popular radio show “12:00-5:00” is interrupted by an unexpected visitor, Herbie Buchanan who offers to read the news bulletins for him. However, Herbie’s news is off by half an hour into the future and none of the events he reports have happened, yet…

This radio show episode was originally produced by “Quiet, Please!”, a show focusing on supernatural and otherworldly stories. It aired from June 8th, 1947 until June 20th, 1949 on the Mutual Broadcasting System and was moved to the BBC in 1948.
