    • 非営利

In this episode we look at a crucial question: Who bears the brunt of climate change?

Join us as Fiona Doherty looks at how children are disproportionately affected by extreme weather events. We confront ourselves with the complexities of this challenging issue and highlight the urgency of understanding and addressing its far-reaching consequences.

In this episode we look at the links between extreme weather events and child, early and forced marriage (CEFM), the long-term impact of CEFM on worldviews, political events and the resolution of the multiple crises we face, and what we can do about it.

Fiona Doherty joining us today is an expert in this field. She is a doctoral candidate at the College of Social Work at The Ohio State University and her research focuses on understanding and addressing the impacts of climate change on the well-being of vulnerable groups and rural communities.

As we kick off 2024 with a bold episode, we look forward to all that is to come this year - it will be a year of great change.
