Thank you!

Hi! I’m Shizuka from Japan. I listen to this podcast every morning. This improves my listen skills a lot.

Can I ask you a question? I read a book and I came across the phrase “You don’t say!”. I have no idea what this means. I guess the meaning is “Really?”. Is my guess right? I want to know when you use this phrase.

Sincerely,
Shizuka

Hi! Thank you so much for your great work on podcast. It’s been a year since I started listening to your podcast. I just wanted to tell you that I’ve been enjoying it ever since and it helps me out with English in various ways! I really really wanted to join your event held in Japan last May. The thing is I was studying abroad in Lithuania at that time. I wish I could be a part of it. I really do.

If you are thinking about throwing such an event in Japan, I will be there for sure!
Thank you for the incredible podcast!
I hope you guys have a great time everyday!

Sincerely,
Leon

I love your podcast! It’s fun and helpful! I have a question! What do you call your friends parents. When I was in Hawaii a friend of mine told me that I should call her mom “anti bla bla”, and her dad “uncle bla bla”. I wonder if it’s common in all places in the U.S.
