From a huge fan of Anna 2Ns
Hello Anna,
I hope all’s well with you.
I’m Kenta from Japan. I’m a huge fan of yours and I listen to your podcast as well as Culips every single day when I commute to work and go to university. When I have time in my hand, I make it a point of writing down the expressions and phrases that came up in each episode and I know but hardly use in my notes.
I have found your idea fascinating and quite interesting that the simple is best. Since then, I have tried to use expressions as simple as possible. To tell the truth, I had been trapped by the thought that I have to use complicated phrases and big words when I speak English over the last two years, but after I listened to your podcast, I’ve realized I don’t have to go out of my way to do such things. Of course, knowing those fancy phrases and idiomatic expressions is a nice-to-have as passive vocabulary, but you don’t have to be obsessed with them whatsoever.
Again. Thank you so much, Anna.
I’m looking forward to your next episodes and your newsletters.
Best regards,
Kenta
