Hi, I’m Dax Shepard, and I love talking to people. I am endlessly fascinated by the messiness of being human, and I find people who are vulnerable and honest about their struggles and shortcomings to be incredibly sexy. I invite you to join me as I explore other people’s stories. We will celebrate, above all, the challenges and setbacks that ultimately lead to growth and betterment. What qualifies me for such an endeavor? More than a decade of sobriety, a degree in Anthropology and four years of improv training. I will attempt to discover human “truths” without any laboratory work, clinical trials or data collection. I will be, in the great tradition of 16th-century scientists, an Armchair Expert.

From a family with a history of Ivy Leaguers I’ve noticed that first generation Ivies always work the school into every conversation they have. Monica no one cares. Spare us Otherwise it’s a great podcast
Where is the armchair expert?
I’ve been a big fan of show… until now.
Dax, the armchair expert is gone. But you guys are still using the same pod name.
Why?
You guys moved to Spotify. An acceptable business decision. I intend on listening to you guys there.
But you’ve tried to squeeze out from a fan base you have not earned, by switching it with a show without the armchair expert himself. I find it disappointing.
1, 2 maybe even 5 shows is understandable but 20 shows? I think that’s too much.
I saw an update notification and wondered what was going on. I am a fan of Abby womback too. So I was curious. Then it was a different show update.
Very disappointed you guys made this decision.
