BONUS - Interview with AR filmmaker RJ Daniel Hanna, director of HARD MILES, in theaters Apr. 19
The new film HARD MILES hits theaters April 19th, and the writer/direct RJ Daniel Hanna stopped by the podcast to tell us all about it. He's an Arkansas filmmaker, and this is his second feature. Based on a true story, the film stars Matthew Modine, Sean Astin, Leslie David Baker, and Cynthia Kaye McWilliams. Modine plays a social worker who takes some incarcerated young men on a life-changing cycling trip 700 miles from Denver, CO to the Grand Canyon.

This Friday, March 29, 2024, The Arkansas Cinema Society is hosting Arkansas filmmaker Alexander Jeffery at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts to screen his new film YOU HAVE NO IDEA, a documentary about living with Autism. The film will be followed by a Q&A with Alexander as well as two of the film's subjects, Beth Burns and Paul Burns.
