As believers, one of our greatest needs is to walk in step with the Holy Spirit. Every Christian at the moment of salvation is permanently in-dwelt with the Holy Spirit, but sadly not every believer is empowered by the indwelling Spirit.
But being empowered is God's divine plan for everyone. The Word of God tells us what to do, but the Spirit of God enables us to do it. God never asks you to do something without giving us the power to do it. The power to live the Christian life and be the person God wants us to be - comes from the indwelling Holy Spirit. The Spirit’s power flows through a believer who is filled with and controlled by the Spirit; making the Spirit-filled life a vital topic and an important truth to live.
