Born in the northern German countryside in 1969, Stephan Bodzin started dabbling in music at an early age due to his father, also an artist and musician, whose studio contained all the magic sound-machines like the ARP2600, Memorymoog, Polysix and many others (today’s producers only know them as software-plug-ins).

No wonder Stephan was heavily fascinated by the idea of electronic music as a little kid and soon founded his own projects as a piano and bass player. After finding out, that none of his band members (including himself) were able to play as tight as the legendary Korg M1 sequencer, Stephan came to the point where he preferred to substitute all “real” musicians with “virtual” musicians in his studio. At the tender age of 17 he bought his first Atari computer and the story began…

After moving to the big city of Bremen, where Stephan steadily kept on to improving & built up his studio set-up, he got in touch with the experimental theatre scene and began to finding own platform to express his artistic and musical visions in compositions for several plays (including works for the established Goethe Theatre in Bremen and the infamous Ikarus Dancing-Theatre from Austria).

But Bodzin never lost his love for pure analogue & electronic music. He put together his first club tracks, which directly got “road-tested” by his brother Oliver, who was a house DJ back then. Around that time he got to know “Humate” member Oliver Huntemann and a long term friendship and work relationship took off. In the following 10 years, they produced various projects like Marc Romboy, Thomas Schumacher, Elektrochemie, H-Man or Oliver Huntemann and did countless remixes for artists like Binary Finary, Frankie Goes To Hollywood or Sinead O’Connor. Furthermore Stephan created the two internationally successful solo projects Condor and Boca.

In December 2004, his friend and global techno player Thomas Schumacher asked him to produce Electrochemie, Schumacher’s project with his girlfriend Caitlin Devlin, and his own “Schumacher” tracks. The outcome of those collabos, released on the labels Get Phyical and Spiel-Zeug Schallplatten, struck the worldwide club-scene like a bomb, nonetheless because of Stephan’s special skills, which can also be heard in the two albums of both projects, which will be released in 2006.
In 2005 Mr. Bodzin, started concentrating on his own career. The Solo-Single “Caligula / Marathon Man”, which came out on Systematic in December 2005 was his first step into the spotlight and created global interest in the artist Stephan Bodzin. Another big thing was his production work with Mr. Systematic Marc Romboy, which resulted in their Luna EP on Systematic and the tracks “House Ya” and “Jigsaw”, for Romboy’s debut LP “Gemini”.


The List of labels, which released Bodzin productions in 2005 & 2006 reads like the “who's who” in the innovative club music scene: Get Physical, Datapunk, International Deejay Gigolo, Systematic, Giant Wheel, Spiel-Zeug Schallplatten, Confused, Dance Electric and Great Stuff.

At the moment Stephan Bodzin is busy starting up his own label with the helping hand of label-god Jan Langer and he’s preparing a second career as a DJ and Live Act!

Since the young age of 14 the passion and ardor for the techno movement in Europe, encourage him to explore the variety of the expression of tendency that was revolutioning the world music Club scene.
Like each young talented dj, Neuroxyde is searching the road for the access in his City Clubs and with the passing by of the time he becomes well-known to the public. His attraction for the electronic grooves, brings him to meet Andrea Prezioso, his “precious” mentor for a few years, and releasing his first production in 1997.
From this point on was for Neuroxyde clear on his mind, that this would be his destination, like a Train rail without stops. Till 2002, year which inaugurates his first professional studio, he switches music productions and gigs on the whole Italian territory. With his actual collaborators (Valentina Dante, David Jones and Aqua Diva) administrates different well know Italian labels of the last few years, moving from different styles and genres taking him to the top of the Top sales charts in Europe.
In 2007 he wins the silver disk in France with over 100.000 sold singles and more than 400.000 copies all over the globe. From the old continent to the whole Globe a short step: Starlight Music is born and in a short break of time it becomes one of the most researched and respected labels, boasting of collaborations with artists of worldwide fame like Shara Nelson of Massive Attack, Dubfire, D.O.N.S. to mention a few. The next step is take of granted: create a label made to fit with his passion and musical requirements.
Neurotraxx is born, a forge that materialize tracks that are played by the most influenced top dj’s of the world. His devotion of the world of Club is still today alive, and his competence and professionalism are unquestionably appreciated.
In the last year with the name of Aki Bergen he found his leading way alsoin the world of deep house,producing some of the most played records of the last months. We can find his name in the first position of the Deep House Beatport chart for three times, and in the 1st position of Beatport General chart with the smashing hit “Jazzy Stuff”. His sudden fame provided him big collaborations with artists such as Ralphi Rosario, Miguel Migs, Dannii Minogue, Milton Jackson, Pezzner, and his remixes are between the most requested and loved.

Slevin K is a self-made Dj who learned everything by himself. He went through different kind of music before getting to its own. He's been inspired by dj's like Loco dice, Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Marco Carola, Luciano, Ricardo Vilalobos and many more. Even his several trips through Europe allowed him to enhance his skill and music knowledge.The young dj from Rabat (Morocco) really launched his career when he went to Bordeaux for his studies and met Jilaa another young dj from the Moroccan scene.

Together they played behind the decks of the best places of the underground music in Bordeaux like l'Azuli where they still play regularly, 115 New-York, I.Boat or even Le 4 sans for a dj contest. They quickly implanted their underground touch in the city by playing regularly in different places.

In 2011 Slevin K integrated Toubkal Records as a resident dj and MUD (Moroccan Underground Department) which provides him the best for the future.

He also launched Basic Statements with Jilaa which is a special podcast providing the finest underground music including their own mixes and even superstar guests like John Acquaviva who has been the first to get into the project!

Slevin K is now working on collaborations with young talents from Morocco such as Ayoub Rhozali or Jilaa.

John has built a career around discovering artists and presenting new music to the world, starting with his labels launched in the 90’s with Richie Hawtin.

Instrumental and pioneered the role of combining traditional turntable DJing with the digital world, he helped to launch FinalScratch at the turn of the decade. Seeing the full potential of this vision since the very early days, John also became founded and launched Beatport.com, which has changed the way DJs and music fans buy and discover the music they love.

John is well known for his vast record collection of over 50.000 pieces of vinyl, spanning virtually the entire length of club music history. He's also rumored to have played through it as well.

This week we have the pleasure to host DexLeMaffo a.k.a Badr khiyat.

Badr Khiyat is music lover from Rabat, Morocco.

His love begun when he discovered Massive Attack, New Order, Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, and many more artists that used samples and synths in the late 70's and 80's. He begun to spin records for the first time in a record shop in Rabat, where he developed his music culture. His DJ sets are essentially a melting pot of groove, sexy and addictive Deep / Tech House. He was invited to play once a week at Ness Radio and, at the same time, was a Dj Resident @ "Mai Thai Lounge" and "Le Grand Comptoir". He also played in many private parties in Casablanca, Rabat, Fès and Marrakech, sharing the decks with many names from the Moroccan electronic scene!
