A casual conversation with Kylie Elyse on how we practice the 4th commandment, which is the remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. We briefly talk about the theology behind what we do, but most of this podcast is talking about how we practically observe the Lord's Day. 

In this episode, Pastor Ben Parks joins us at Boring Theology to talk through conflict, particularly Christian conflict. We set out to prioritize what is most important during conflict and how we should be working to resolve theological conflict with all kinds of people. During the conversation, you will hear about conflict that we have had with unbelievers, false converts, and even a conflict that Ben and I have had for years.

In the 8th episode of the Bible Timeline Series, we are talking about the prophets of the Old Testament and how they worked and what they did during their times. We define what a prophet is and quickly talk about the prophets we have already covered through the series. The real focus of this episode is explaining the story of the destruction of Judah, their exile, and their return. Primarily viewing that story through the lens of the prophets.

This is the 7th episode in the Bible Timeline Series. We are talking about the Divided Kingdom. King Solomon had rebelled against God by establishing idol worship in Israel. God waits until King Solomon dies as a means of respecting King David. The following episode explains how the kingdom was divided into a Northern Kingdom (Israel) and a Southern Kingdom (Judah). We discuss how the Bible evaluates a good king and who is bad (most of them). We also highlight a few kings in 1st & 2nd Kings to show how they reflected their kingdoms. The whole episode sets the stage for the next episode, which is Prophets/Exile/Return. 

Today is a bonus episode with my wife Kylie Esch. She joined me today to talk about Family Worship. We discuss how to read the Bible, teach the Bible, pray the Bible, and sing the Bible as a family. Some of this might be very new for some of you so we talk about good and healthy strategies to keep up with it.
