Morgan Frost, Flyers fight back, fall short in Boston | PHLY Sports
The Flyers took leads of 1-0 and 2-1 in this game, but a bad start to the third period made all look lost in John Tortorella's return to the bench. But The Philadelphia Flyers fought back with goals from Nic Deslauriers (!), Joel Farabee, and Morgan Frost, but Felix Sandstrom couldn't close the door and comeback fell just short, with Boston prevailing 6-5.
Charlie, Bill & Kelly break down the action, including the playoff race and what's next in this ridiculous stretch of the schedule.

Sam Ersson pulled after 20 minutes in Flyers blowout loss
After a nice bounce back start against the Sharks, Sam Ersson was looking to steady himself against the star-studded Leafs but instead looked much more like the goalie who was pulled against Tampa, and his results were similar. Felix Sandstrom took over in the 2nd period and the Flyers steadied themselves, but then the wheels fell off in the 3rd.
Charlie, Bill & Kelly break down the action, the playoff race, and Pearl Jam night.

Without John Tortorella, the Flyers survive a Shark attack
With head coach John Tortorella serving the first of his 2-game suspension from the Tampa Bay Debacle, the Flyers faceoff at home against the San Jose Sharks, the second worst team in the NHL.
The game was penalty ridden (8 power plays, 20 PIM through first 40 minutes), and after 2 periods, tied at 2. Owen Tippett ended a slump to net the go-ahead goal in the 3rd, but the margin for error was still slim against a team poised to play spoiler on Philly’s Stanley Cup Playoff hopes.
The Flyers hang on to win 3-2, and Bill, JP, and Charlie discuss the shark attack and the tough schedule ahead for the Orange and Black.

John Tortorella suspended, Flyers return home to continue playoff push
The Philadelphia Flyers split their trip to Florida, beating the Panthers in Sunrise for the biggest win of the season, but then 48 hours later had their worst showing of the year, falling 7-0 in Tampa to the Lightning.
Halfway through the first period of the Tampa Bay Debacle, head coach John Tortorella got thrown out by referee Wes McCauley, and has subsequently been suspended for 2 games. The Flyers now look towards home games against San Jose and Toronto (Takeover tickets: https://bit.ly/3SBwFwh) without their bench boss.
Bill & Kelly react to everything that has transpired since the Trade Deadline, and preview what’s ahead for the Orange & Black.

John Tortorella ejected, shorthanded Flyers hit by storm in Tampa Bay
It was pretty much over after the first period. Victor Hedman scored 1:50 into the game, and the Tampa Bay Lightning never looked back. After 20 minutes, the Bolts were up 4-0, Sam Ersson had been pulled for Felix Sandstrom, and John Tortorella was ejected after some questionable calls by Wes McCauley & crew that led to a pair of power-play goals in the first.
Bill, JP, and Charlie break down the disaster, which began with only having 5 healthy defensemen due to Egor Zamula missing the contest with an illness, and really never got any better for Philly.

Great content
Bill, Steph, Kelly, Charlie, and the gang really help me feel like I'm along for the ride halfway around the world. Born in Japan, bred in Philly, and now back in Japan, my heart still bleeds orange and black. Whipping out the Koho and going to the neighborhood pond to skate with guys a good foot taller than me is one of the greatest memories from my childhood. Thanks for bringing the Philly vibe online so us foreigners can get in on the action together. Go Flyers!
