I lost my dad, Bruce Chapman, in 2015 to colon cancer. It’s been 6 years and I still miss him every day. It’s a constant grief that I don’t think I’ll ever get over, but instead, I can learn to live with it. In this series I've dedicated to my dad, I'll talk to friends and family members about my grief and the ways that I cope. Hopefully, it helps anyone else who is also struggling with their own loss, and will also help to carry on the legacy of my dad, who was a funny funny guy.

On this first episode, I sat down with my mom to exchange stories about my dad. Talking about him is one way I deal with his loss.

We reminisce on favorite memories and silly things he would do. My mom also shares an inside joke she had with him from before I was born, and I confess my biggest regret of not being around sooner.
