Calling the Church to Action | Elli Oswald Mindshift

    • キリスト教

Welcome to Mindshift, a podcast by the Homecoming project that exists to equip and empower you to advocate on behalf of vulnerable children around the world.
In this episode, host Krish Kandiah speaks to Elli Oswald about the important role that the Church has to play in seeing children thrive in families. Elli shares about the value of supportive communities in wrapping around and strengthening families when they are in crisis, so that they can continue to care well for their children. Krish and Elli also talk about the importance of engaging both the heart and the mind when we think about how to best help vulnerable children, and how a mindshift happens when we have a spirit of humility and are willing to listen to the voices of vulnerable children. We hope this interview encourages and inspires you to play your part.
Dr Krish Kandiah, host and friend of the Homecoming project, is a government advisor in child welfare, an author, theologian, and activist based in the UK. Krish and his wife Miriam have six children through birth, adoption, and fostering.

Elli Oswald is the Executive Director of the Faith to Action Initiative.
