Carol Redfield Ph.D. of St. Mary’s University Deeper Than The Cover

Carol Redfield Ph.D. is a Professor at St. Mary’s University since 1998 who made her way to Texas all the way from Michigan. She has turned her passions of mathematics and computer science specifically Computer Gaming, to a life long career of learning and teaching! In this episode you will learn about her life journey, her family, and her affinity to spread her passion of STEM to the the next generation especially young female choosing the path. You will learn how she advocated for Esports and was able to be the first College in San Antonio to offer $8000 scholarships specificallt for Esports teams.
