(TW suicide) Brett’s story is jaw-dropping. Nearly every twist and turn is a testimony to the goodness of God through suffering. Brett’s Journey through Alcoholics Anonymous to clarity in the Gospel is absolutely fascinating, and I have never met someone so winsomely articulate the benefits and dangers of AA. I ran into Dr. Tyler Flatt when he was giving a lecture here at Southern on how to read well. Since that is one of my favorite subjects, I asked if he would be on the pod, and he graciously agreed. Jimmy Bledsoe is working with the Bevin Center at Southern Seminary to look at how theological education impacts missions and to inspire seminary students to become part of the Gospel spreading to the nations.
