CHRISTMAS-world without Jesus 1-05-20 Bridge Covenant Church

In a world without Jesus, there is no church; there is no place on earth where we see and experience the presence of Jesus on earth.But look! Look around you! You are the church! Bridge is the church! The Church is here and has been here because this is not a world without Jesus!
The church, the presence of Jesus on Earth, is the place and the people and the practice of peace of earth (it is peace on earth!), of good will to others. The church is the presence of the kingdom of God, the new community in Jesus, where the poor and battered are cared for and sustained, where the knowledge of God fills the earth, a place where God embraces and loves and forgives and empowers, a place where we are collaborating with God to make all things new. This is not a world without Jesus!
This is a world with Jesus. A world in which we are able to know God the Father intimately, a world in which there is freedom from sin, a world in which there is freedom from death, a world in which the church of Jesus the Chosen One of God rules with truth and grace.
