Competition Questioning Life’s Toughest Answers

Whether it be fighting for a first place trophy, battling to the bone for class rank one, or aspiring to start the most successful diaper company, life, to say the least, is a competition. Last week we examined the issue of pride and praise, bringing to light a new discussion on the matter of competition. 

This week we pick up right where we left off on the issue of competition, and question the answer: competition always promotes progress in society. This week, we dismantle competition at both a societal and at an individual level, discussing our viewpoint on the fairness of the system of hierarchy as well as how we as individuals should approach competition.
