Welcome to this weeks episode of Heavy Metal History. This week I got to speak with Jadran "Conan" Gonzalez, lead guitar player and founding member of the band ExMortus. "Conan" came on to talk about the bands first album "In Hatreds Flame" turning 10, his very supportive upbringing and always having the heavy metal influence in his life. "Conan" started ExMortus as a kid so the comparisons to Death Angel are apt which brings up a discussion of his evolving guitar playing style along with the massive improvements with the bands discography as his playing improved. The bands new album "The Sound of Steel" is their finest and most competent record to date. It comes out June 8th on Prosthetic records.
