I met the young gentleman a couple years ago, when I believe he was in his final high school year and I was in my second year at University, where we did a short Investment Banking program together - he was polished, smart, and had that nothing’s going to get me down energy around him. I remember him as bright as day. In all honesty despite his age, he was the one person in the program out of all the stellar candidates that myself and my close friend who attended the program with me took acute notice of, we recognised his potential and calibre and knew that we needed to keep and eye out for him. A few years down the track, our suspicions have been confirmed. Originally from the UK, he found himself in South Africa and would always speak of an innovative future, one without barriers and one fuelled by tech and efficiency, little did I know that he would manifest this future for himself.
