In Episode 18: The Future of Dog Training Part 1 our resident qualified behaviourist and host, Hannah Molloy invites world renowned dog trainers Kamal Fernandez and Lez Graham to speak openly and honestly about the past, present and potential future of the dog training and behaviour industry.
In this Part 1 of our 2 part season finale we talk about the learning journey of our experts in a field that is constantly growing and evolving, where the industry has been, where dog training and behaviour is in the present day, and Hannah hijacks the 'What if' to ask....
'What if...' the future of dog training is world where young trainers can model on older trainers from a variety of backgrounds that are able to hold space for people they might disagree with, and learn to listen with love and engage in open minded discourse and debate together.
Kamal is a world champion dog trainer and trainer of trainers that has competed at the highest level in dog sports, and speaks at conferences all over the world, including the Victoria Stillwell Bite Conference, IMPACT conference for service and military personnel, as well as Television appearances on Sky Televisions ‘Dogs Might Fly.
Lez is also an International speaker, trainer of trainers, an award winning author and founder of The Pet Gundog movement. Lez has an M.A. in Professional Practice in Canine Behaviour & Psychology and her books consistently rank in the top 1% of all books sold on Amazon!
