Trump says the United States will be in "very good shape" in short period of time, while the World Health Organization says the "virus is proving exceptionally difficult to stop." 36 states see positivity rates above recommendations. 

    A new report says that the number of United States child Covid cases are up 90 percent in the last four weeks. Kids are now nine percent of reported United States cases. Nearly 100,000 children tested positive last two weeks of July. 

    A 21-year-old had a mild Covid case and then suffered organ failure. A study shows that 78 percent of patients had cardiac abnormality after the virus. 

    Former presidential candidate Ex-GOP Gov. John Kasich is supposed to make a case in support for Biden during the DNC, with an endorsement. More than 100 Black men tell Biden to pick a Black Woman for vice president, says not doing so "means you will lose the election."

    Trump claims that United States deaths put it at "bottom of the list." The United States has four percent of the world's population, but nearly 23 percent of deaths. Trump says that Americans "are dying, that's true. It is what it is." More than 1,000 Americans have died per day in 11 of the last 15 days. Trump says that the coronavirus is "under control as much as you can control it" as the rate of new deaths rises in 27 states. Trump says if the New York and New Jersey numbers are taken out of death toll, "Out numbers are among the lowest." 

    A study shows that the potential coronavirus vaccine shows promising results. Six states band together for a rapid testing plan as Trump administration faces growing criticism for lack of national plan. 

    Mississippi issues a statewide mask mandate and orders anyone with the coronavirus to isolate or face fines and possible jail time. A college professor wants to teach classes outside, " I now fear being assigned to windowless classrooms" during pandemic. The professor also says, "having classes outdoors is not a radical thought."

    The New York Times says that Trump's campaign advisers privately call a pre-election vaccine "the holy grail." The New York Times says that scientists fear political pressure on vaccine timeline.
