Oh wow, we are alive. It's our not so triumphant return to your earholes. We catch up on where we've been the last few months before diving into our recap of the Metal Tour of the Year in Minneapolis. Then we talk about one of the more dark and uncomfortable movies we've watched "Lords of Chaos". This movie is the origin story of the black metal band Mayhem, and it did a great job of making you feel like a sad bitch.

It's a solo episode with Aaron. Our schedules are pretty much handcuffing us at the moment, being available at the same time to record an episode is going to be difficult for the summer. Hopefully can tolerate Aaron enough until Dani is able to hop back on.

But today, we talk about how there is no more need for major record labels, as artists have access to essentially everything they need to promote themselves and create quality sounding music. Then Aaron breaks down the Megadeth situation and the potential replacements for junior.

This week on the show we discuss our most overrated and underrated bands. After Dani insults a metal titan and Aaron slanders an entire genre, we shift the discussion towards the movie Heavy Trip, a Finnish comedy film about a group of goofballs that form a heavy metal band and work towards playing their first live show. This movie received the first ever perfect score on the Larry scale, as featured on Quick Hitters.
