Did you have a nightmare? I have nightmares, too. Someday I'll explain it to you, why they came, why they won't ever go away, but I'll tell you how I survive it. I make a list in my head... of all the good things I've seen someone do. Every little thing I can remember. It's like a podcast. I do it over and over. Gets a little tedious after all these years, but... there are much worse podcasts to listen to, estudiantes.

We come to the end of our Hunger Games syllabus! Wow, that was agro. Yet... appropriate? Take heed, beloved students! Professors Katie and Malu bring you a hot and fresh serving of that tasty PanEm delicacy known as Teen Dystopia Forced Love Triangle! We move bravely onward to 2014's third film in the "trilogy" - Mockingjay Part 1! Lawrences Francis and Jennifer get real and so does the camerawork and screenwriting! They really try and make Gale happen harder than "fetch." Politics get prickly and Professor Katie challenges anyone who thinks Part 1 is boring to a fistfight! Malu agrees more or less.

It's a brand new syllabus, children, and your favorite film school professors are cashing in a chip: they're diving back into their groady and grisly childhoods to discuss the original (not original) battle royale movie... It's Hunger Games time! May the odds volunteer as tribute, you mockingjays! The inscrutable instructors jump in headfirst into the beginning of the series, Gary Ross' 2012 adaptation of Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games. There's talk of Peeta and Snow and Katniss and you better believe there's some hating on Gale.

Seriously, fuck Gale.
