Nl: Het was een zonnige dag in Zaanse Schans.
En: It was a sunny day in Zaanse Schans.

Nl: Maarten en Eva besloten de zolder op te ruimen.
En: Maarten and Eva decided to tidy up the attic.

Nl: Ze hadden het lang uitgesteld, maar nu was het moment daar.
En: They had put it off for a long time, but now the moment had arrived.

Nl: Ze zagen er tegenop, want de zolder was vol met oude dozen en stof.
En: They were apprehensive, as the attic was full of old boxes and dust.

Nl: Maarten klom de smalle trap op.
