Choosing Who You ARE, Not Who You WERE

Choosing Who You ARE, Not Who You WERE

When the whisper of something new is calling, do you listen?

In this episode I explore how to move towards personal growth by looking at the areas of life where you may be attaching yourself to who you WERE, instead of choosing who you ARE.

I’m sharing a personal story about my own experience letting go of something old and welcoming in something new.

And, offering some questions to ask yourself to do the same, with patience and grace, to move you closer to feeling more like - you.

Jen Long, Designer + Founder of Noble: Doing Sustainable Fashion Right, Dressing for How You Want to Feel + Chasing Your Dreams One Step at a Time

Get to know one of my favorite clothing brands, Noble, and the women behind it, founder + designer Jen Long.

Noble designs clothing for women + kids around 3 core pillars of value: fashionable, functional, and sustainable.

In this episode Jen and I chat about doing sustainable fashion the right way and how all of Noble’s garments are made from seed to stitch in the very same place - which is incredible and almost unheard of in the fashion industry.

Plus, Jen shares her insights on starting your own shop or clothing line, embracing vintage and over the top style, dressing as a mom, fashion’s effect on mental health and the power of small steps to reach your dreams.

Listener Note: Jen and I discuss pregnancy loss in this episode, something we have both experienced. If this topic is upsetting or triggering to you then you’ll want to skip the end of the episode when we talk about it. Please discern what is best for you and know that I fully understand + support you if you need to protect your heart by skipping over this conversation today.
