Sometimes in life, we will feel stuck, as if nothing is changing or going our way. Our contentment, as believers and joy do not come from circumstances. It comes from our relationship with the Lord. Being stuck and feeling stuck are two different things. We must determine the truth of our situation and draw from God and trust that God is always working whether we see it or not.

What is your barometer on love? Is love a feeling or a choice? Let's just say, there is nothing natural about love. Love is supernatural. Only a supernatural natural love can love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you and forgive those who have trespassed against you. Only a supernatural God working on the inside us could do these things. Not our feelings. Our feelings would do otherwise. Grief is something we will all experience in our lives. It’s the emotional suffering you feel when something or someone you love transitions. The Lord, who is our Comforter let’s us know in Psalm 34:18 that He is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Let’s face it! The struggle is real. We all have that one thing or two that we struggle with. It is the thing that requires more prayer and faith. God is waiting to perform a miracle in your life. Will it require obedience from you? Yes! —But when we put our trust in God and exercise our faith, that something that may have seemed impossible to overcome becomes possible. After all, nothing is impossible with God.

Our words carry real weight and power. The Bible says, “Life and Death is in the power of the tongue.” When we make comments that are the opposite of what we desire to see, it is likely you will create what you say. It’s important that we partner with God’s word when declaring what comes after the words, “I am…” “I am” is a identity confession. Instead of speaking what you do not want to see, begin declaring what you desire to see according to God’s word. Tune in as Gail shares with you the meaning and the power of the words, “I am.”
