Chapter 2:
On the seventh day You had finished Your work of creation, so You rested from all Your work. Thank You God. Genesis 2:2
You blessed the seventh day and declared it holy. Thank You God. Genesis 2:3
You formed man from the dust of the ground. Thank You God. Genesis 2:7
You breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person. Thank You God. Genesis 2:7
You planted a garden in Eden in the East. Thank You God. Genesis 2:8
You placed the man You made in the garden of Eden. Thank You God. Genesis 2:8
You made all sorts of trees grow up from the ground — trees that were beautiful and that produced delicious fruit. Thank You God. Genesis 2:9
In the middle of the garden, You placed the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Thank You God. Genesis 2:9
You warned the man, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden — except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.” Thank You God. Genesis 2:16-17
You made a helper who is just right for man. Thank You God. Genesis 2:18
You caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. While the man slept, You took out one of the man’s ribs and closed up the opening. Then You made a woman from the rib, and You brought her to the man. Thank You God. Genesis 2:21-22
Chapter 3:
You walked about in the garden of Eden with the man and woman. Thank You God. Genesis 3:8
You made clothing from animal skins for Adam and Eve. Thank You God. Genesis 3:21
Chapter 6:
You observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and You saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil. Thank You God. Genesis 6:5
Noah found favor with You. Thank You God. Genesis 6:8
Noah was a righteous man, the only blameless person living on earth at the time, and he walked in close fellowship with You. Thank You God. Genesis 6:9
You saw that the earth had become corrupt and was filled with violence. Thank You God. Genesis 6:11
You observed all this corruption in the world, for everyone on earth was corrupt. Thank You God. Genesis 6:12
You decided to destroy everything on earth with a flood. Thank You God. Genesis 6:13
You made a covenant with Noah — to spare him and his family. Thank You God. Genesis 6:18
