This is worth following!

I came across Nick’s YouTube videos on Obsidian early in 2022 and was immediately attracted to his energy. There is authenticity, joy and humility in his work, a thirst for personal growth combined with a real flair for teaching and visual presentation. You can sense that he is not afraid to share his “mistakes” in the process of growing. This was my first intro to Ali Abdaal and I can see why this was the person he chose to launch his podcast. They have a lot in common. My biggest takeaway among several was Ali’s suggestion that when you have to do something that may appear to be a chore of some kind, ask yourself the question, “What would this be like if it were fun?” Focusing on Now was another important point Ali made — a theme that is dear to my heart — he said something to the effect that “When it boils down to it, now is all we have and we might as well enjoy it. Nick obviously felt, after hearing Ali’s recommendation, that it is time to read Eckhart Tolle on this. Sounds to me like it might be an important step in a direction that he has already been going in.
