True love is not based on words or hypocritical deeds, but it is based on truthful actions. It doesn't only believe or hope, but it does actions that will make the things it believes or hopes a reality. “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” – 1 John 3:18-19.  1 John 4:8 and 16 state that "God is love; and he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him." John 3:16 states: "God so loved the world..."
