MFBC JLPT GOAT #tombrady
Welcome to Episode 103. There's lots of catching up to do this week, and the boys do just that, discussing beer, snow, babies, puking children, Joe's infiltrated ass, and computers, among other things. Then it's off to poetry corner, in which Joe musters up his most sincere (EDIT: easy for people to understand) Geordie accent and strings together a tapestry of topics. From there, Casey administers a quiz in tribute to the greatest NFL quarterback of all time: the one and only TB12. Joe fumbles his answers repeatedly, but does he manage to score enough points to win the game? Finally, in In Your Area, the BBC does Beantown, and there's carnage in Carlisle.

Fleshy Beaks
Episode 102: Two weeks gap is a long time, 17 days is even longer. We missed you, and we are sure you missed…well, it’s possible you noticed a show hadn’t come out for a while. This fortnight, we have some baby updates, copious sport chat, a poem about German desserts and lunchtime staples, a quiz mourning the loss of a rock icon, an IYA we didn’t find under the floorboards, and another IYA which brought up Joe’s massive feelings of guilt again. Plus there are some really odd noises. We think you’ll enjoy this one for a change.

Hoppy New Beers
Episode 101: Enter the podcast of your most feared disgustances and if you dare, listen to the end where an aural hungry rat will be placed in a cage upon your ears. I’m other words, HAPPY NEW YEAR! We are back, with a slightly shorter episode than the previous one, with a just-as-short Casey and an even-fatter Joe. You can expect the usual crap, with a smidge of added poor sound quality from Joe’s end, and improved internet performance at Casey’s end, somehow. There’s a running joke of a quiz, some brief IYAs, and a lacklustre poem from Joe. Who knows when the next episode will drop? Not us. But soon. Ish.

Episode 100! Offensive Weapons
Episode 100
We finally made it, after weeks of waffling and minutes of technical difficulties. Your hosts are joined by some true gentlemen and fans of the pod to celebrate whatever it is that Ishikawa: Summit to Sea is. Joe starts with rousing intro before former guests Brian in Fukuoka and James Reynolds drop by. Brian surprises everyone with his own quiz, and then one half of the Smith and Tanaka podcast joins us from his car. Shortly thereafter, Sakamichi Brother Mashew Boyant and his refrigerator show up, and they all settle in for a very long quiz/trip down memory lane. It wouldn't be a proper episode without delving into each others areas, and so they do that while displaying their respective amazing accent work. Congrats to us!
Editor's note: this was a nightmare to edit. -
Tip of the Ton
Episode 99: The real Casey returns for this pre-landmark episode. He apologizes to Joe for a variety of indiscretions, soup-based and otherwise. Joe makes a major announcement about a little thing. Is anybody even reading this? Joe reads a heartfelt but highly hypocritical poem about the World Cup, and Casey follows up with a neutral Qatar quiz. Then it's onto each other's areas, where Joe reads an article about Joe, and Casey relates to an up-and-coming musician.
