Jack Gorby on the early days of Americans United for Life, Roe v. Wade and strategies to advance human rights, and the future Life, Liberty, and Law

Before Roe v. Wade, the U.S. Supreme Court did not function as if it were America's National Abortion Control Board. Instead, the issue of abortion was left America's voters and their elected representatives across the states. As Roe was being handed down and the violence of abortion was being imposed across America, human rights advocates came together in the 1960s and '70s to fight the scourge of nationalized abortion. Jack Gorby, a co-founder of Americans United for Life, was one of those human rights advocates who was there at the beginning of America's most contentious culture war issue. In addition to his role with Americans United for Life, Jack is an accomplished attorney and professor emeritus at John Marshall Law school. Jack joins Tom Shakely and Noah Brandt to reflect on his role in the fight against abortion from Roe through to the present.
