• Description from the news that I watch :
The news that I watch tell about where do variants of Covid come from. The truth is viruses mutate all the time. When a virus gets inside a host and begins to infect cells, it makes copies of itself so it can spread, like dominoes. Thousands of copies are made at a time. And share a virus has to replicate very quickly. Over time these genetic mutations can lead to other changes. Most of these gentle changes do nothing. But sometimes they alter the way the virus behaves, making it easier for it to survive.
Key thing is the longer a virus is out there spreading from person to person, the more variants you're going to get. Scientists are looking at vaccines to make sure high protection againts Covid-19. The news that I watch tell about Covid vaccine safety. These are all the steps normally taken to create a safe and working vaccine. So, as is the case with all medicines, a vaccine goes through extensive and rigorous testing before. Before any testing happens in humans, the vaccine is tested on animals in a laboratory. If the vaccine works and is safe for animals, clinical trials begin.
Scientific and clinical experts review it to see how effective the vaccine is, how safe it is, how stable it is, its quality and check that it's been manufactured and stored in a way that meets safety standards and public health policy. If a vaccine is then approved, it can be given to a wider population. But the regulators keep monitoring health records and data on anyone who gets one. And every batch of the vaccine that is made is checked for purity and quality before it's sent anywhere.
