I was once a stupid piece of garbage. Thankfully, this podcast brought me into the light—this non-garbage life, baby. Here I am. A full human. And it’s all thanks to Las Culturistas.
It is a treasure. A treasure from the bottom of the ocean, from the wreckage of the Titanic. That diamond Old Rose threw off the edge of that ship? This show, baby. They dredged that shiny piece of trash back up from the muck, polished that puppy, and—through the alchemy of ironical comedy—created Las Culturistas.

I won't lie, I got into Las Cultch VERY late. I spent literally over a year aware of the pod before I decided to check it out. The vast amount of episodes can seem daunting - I had decided at the time to listen to only guests I knew and then all new episodes. Then I decided to listen to all the I Don't Think So Honey Live episodes. Finally, between the Forever Dog and iHeart transition, I decided to sink in and am now am about a month away to having listened to every. single. episode. :)
Here's the thing. When it comes to the topic of culture, there will never be an individual who perfectly encapsulates what you think close to yourself. However, the balance of Matt and Bowen is so wonderful. Generally you will get a great discussion between two friends that will make you feel like you are in on their hangouts. And trust if I ever had the chance to sit in on an in-person conversation between them, I'd be so deliciously eager to do so. :) When I finally truly run out of episodes, it will be a life-altering event yet again.
