Legends and Champions: SummerSlam 1997

The war between WCW and WWE was reaching its boiling point.  Bret Hart would challenge The Undertaker for the WWE Championship, with the controversial Shawn Michaels as the special referee.  Tensions were high, and the show titled "Hart and Soul" brought a series of stories and stipulations to a talent-stacked card.

Despite the talent and star power, the show struggled, and would also play scene to one of the most damaging and defining injuries to a Superstar in history.  Join Stefan Bennett as he walks us through the time as well as the events leading up to and following the card in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
