Lindsey Sherman Vocal Unrest

Lindsey is an Expressive Arts Therapist, Theatre Artist and Children's Musician. She grew up in New York and moved to Vancouver, B.C. in 2019. Her formal education includes a Certification in Expressive Arts Therapy, BFA in Theatre Arts, and she is currently working towards her Masters in Expressive Arts Therapy. 

Lindsey works as a therapist and Creative Arts facilitator with people of all ages, exploring all creative practices for the purposes of healing and growth. She often works with young children and caregivers, leading music and sing-along groups. Lindsey writes original music for children, always following the imaginative play that naturally emerges in music time. Lindsey has also worked professionally as a performer and director on various projects which explore theatre advocating for social change and mental health awareness. 

Since her childhood, singing and theatre offered her confidence, community, and a deeper sense of self. As an artist and a therapist, she wishes to offer opportunities for joy and connection through collaborative explorations of all arts practices.
