To promote their new film Double Blind, Thomas D. Moser and Christopher Showerman honored me by stopping by to chat about the black and white conspiracy spy thriller flick. While Tom directed this film, he has a long history with animation, particularly Marvel-related.

Telling us about building the arena for the animated Planet Hulk Film, he also talked about his experience seeing that come to life in Thor: Ragnarok. Tom also speaks about his more recent animation work on Duncanville and Big mouth.
When we finally let Chris talk, we speak on his work in Supergirl and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., George of the Jungle 2, and all the stuntwork he had to do alongside his acting role in Double Blind.

We chatted about her work on and off of the camera, and we touched on many other fun tidbits that I'm sure you'll enjoy. I hope you have as much fun as we did!

The Nest Part III with Screenwriter & Actress Jennifer Trudrung
To round out our coverage for the new horror film The Nest, we went all the way to the source to get the perspective of the woman who conceptualized it in the first place - Jennifer Trudrung.
After we spoke with Sarah Navratil and Drez Ryan who both star in the film, we wanted to direct all of our behind-the-scenes questions for Jennifer. Initially to project had a different name, as she revealed, but that changed for the final production of the horror feature.
She told us all about the numerous teddy bears on the set and the practical effects that went into creating the film. We talked about the casting process as the characters parallel her own daughter and life experience, and she reveals that the role Drez played was written with him in mind.
We learned about Jennifer herself, as she told us about her numerous short films, including her upcoming animated project. She touched a bit on her roles as an actress and her small appearance in this year's Halloween film. Our cats also joined in for the fun, so look out for Finn and Boo, the best tuxedo girls in the whole galaxy.
I'm sure you'll learn a lot from Jennifer, so be sure to check out what she has to say. Meanwhile, The Nest is currently on Redbox, it will hit VOD in the states on July 20th, and the UK on August 15th.
The Nest Part II with Actor Drez Ryan
The absolutely incredible opportunity came up to chat with the extremely talented thespian Drez Ryan in support of his new horror film, The Nest.
Not only did Drez talk to us about his part in the parasitic teddy bear plot, but he also graciously dug into his theater past and HBO Max future. He teased his big upcoming project, but it was more emotional to discuss his portrayal of Martin Luther King Jr. on stage and his hopes to one day play Lenny Kravitz.
It's a great time, and there is a lot to be learned from Drez's comments. So have fun, and be sure to check out The Nest next week when it drops on VOD!
The Nest Part I with Lead Actress Sarah Navratil
This week we are doing press for the upcoming horror/thriller film, The Nest, which focuses on parasitic creatures living inside a child's teddy bear.
First up, we've got Sarah Navratil, the lead actress in the movie. We chat about her role as the mother, Beth, in The Nest and some of the practical effects of creating the film.
We had a great time, and we'll be bringing you more interviews with the cast and crew before The Nest releases on VOD on July 20th.
Trollhunters & Legends of Tomorrow with Arrow-Verse Creator Marc Guggenheim
Marc Guggenheim is back, this time to promote his upcoming film Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans. The new movie is a culmination of three DreamWorks Netflix series, Wizards, Trollhunters, and 3-Below in an Avengers-style crossover event.
While chatting with Marc, we obviously had to dig into his Legends of Tomorrow work, and we learned a lot about how the show is structured, ideas that don't always make it in the show at first, and most importantly, the upcoming Beebo Christmas Special.
We also get the opportunity to talk about the new Green Lantern series on HBO Max that Marc is handling, and he explained how grateful he is to get another crack at the Emerald Knight after his film with Ryan Reynolds didn't end up how he planned.
This is one in a series of chats in which we are bringing back our favorite guests from our first year to celebrate the Inner Child Podcast anniversary with new video content, so stay tuned for the others, and be sure to check out Trollhunters: Rise of the Guardians on Netflix.
