内容：休みのとき何をするのが好きか聞いてみました。

I: Hello. Nice to meet you.
A&R: Nice to meet you, too.
I: Please introduce yourself.
A: My name is Ahsan. I'm from Bangladesh. I'm now studying in Niigata university. My major is dentistry.
I: Oh, thank you.

R: Hello, my name is Farhana. I'm from Bangladesh, too. I also study in Niigata university. My major is also dentistry.

I: So, are you friends?
R: No, he is my husband.
I: Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great!

I: What do you do on weekend?
R: Actually when I don't have my work in university, I'd like to shopping, I like shopping, so I'd like to go to the shopping centers and I'd like to hang out with friends,and I'd like to go shopping. And if I have work in the university, then I have to go to the university.

I: How about you?
A: For me, even in the weekend, I have to go to the university. But when I have time, I like to go to the beach, beach.
I: Beach? Oh! Beach!
A: Yes. Also sometimes I like to go to the shop, but most I like to go to the beach.
I: Where do you go for a date?
R&A: hahahaha
R: We usually go to the beach, sometimes to the restaurants.
I: In Niigata?
R: Yeah, in Niigata.
A: There are some Indian restaurants also in Niigata, so we would like to go to there.
I: Oh! What kind of food?
R: Curry. Do you like to Japanese food also? Sometimes we go out to the, to the Kappa sushi.
I: Kappa zushi!!!
R: It's very cheap.Sometimes we also went to some restaurants, Japanese-style restaurants. Sometimes we go out for eating soba and tempura.
I: Soba?Tempura?
R: Yeah, yeah. We like soba and tempura very much.
I: Really.

I:Please introduce yourself.

S:Hi, I'm Simone Perversy. I'm from Italy, the middle
part of Italy. Ah, I'm living here for 16 years.
I'm 20 years old.
I like sports. Especially, Soccer, football playing, also, watching. Ah, I also play the
guitar.
I like music. And, like funk music, like umm....my favorite, my favorite band is Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Like, last summer, I went to the concert at Tokyo Dome, in Tokyo. I watched them.

I:Do you often play the guitar?

S:Umm...Two, four, two, to four times a week. When I
have time. It's my hobby.
It's not mine, I don't have bands, it's my hobby, yah.
Especially, recently, I like to play the guitar, I like.

I:What do you do in the weekend?

S:In weekends, I like to...When the weather is very sunny,
I like to take walk, take a walks to the parks.
Or... also...in (the) summer, I'm going to the see...the beach. Or, I like playing the guitar, watching movies. At night, may be, going to some bars, some pubs.

H：My name is Hannah Bishop and I live in Murakami city now.

I: What do you do on the weekend?

H: On the weekends. Lately I come to Niigata on the weekends because I am dating a guy who lives in Niigata. I guess my boyfriend lives in Niigata. So I come to Niigata.

I: Where are you from?

H: Where my from. I'm from America.

I: What part of America?

H: North Carolina state, which is south of New York and north of Florida.

I: The.. your boyfriend is Japanese?

H: Yes, he is Japanese.

I: Is he cool?

H: He is cool. I like him.

I: What person? kind?

H: Yes, he is very kind, and he is funny. Yes, and he is very relaxed, laid-back.Yes.

I: He can speak English?

H: Yes, he can speak very well, not fluently but well, he can speak. Yes.

I: Where place do you meet?

H: Where do we usually meet? We go to..., we go out to eat, we go to Izakayas, we go to...uh, we've been to the Aquarium, the Niigata Aquarium. Uh, the aquarium what is it called..uh, Marinpia.
We went to Marinpia and we've been to, we usually go out to eat, we go to Round 1 sometimes,and go bowling and go shopping, go to onsens. I like onsens.

I: Together?

H: Oh, it's separate but...Hahaha

A:Ah...my name is Adrian. Um...from Frace.

I:Oh, France!

A:Yeah, from the South part of France. You know Bordeaux?
Maybe for wines. Bordreau wine.

I:Bordeaux wine!!

A:I came from there, so I'm from there...actually...

I:What do you in Japan?

A:Ah...I came here to study as an exchange student for one
year since last September till this September, this
coming September.
And after I'm going to back to France and graduate. But
afterwards I plan to come(※coming) back here. And
ah...may be look for job or...

I:What do you do on weekend?

A:I used to hang out with frieds, I have around university or...

I:Where?

A:Furumachi, or next to the station, Niigata station, or
going to restaurants, to book stores, Jusco,
supermarkets to go shopping.

I:Ok, thank you.

A:Thank you.

* Ojisan=a Japanese word. it means men who are middle age.

M: Please introduce yourself.
P: OK. Um, I'm Peter Fox and I've been living in Niigata for about five years and I'm an English teacher in Niigata. I'm from England, I was born in England but my family is from Ireland.
M: Thank you. So you have been living in Niigata for five years.
M: So, which restaurant in Niigata do you recommend?
P: Which restaurants? Um, maybe the first restaurant I'd recommend would be, um, Spicy Market.
M: What kind of restaurant is it?
P: It's a, an Asian, ethnic asian or Thai food restaurant. Um, as the name suggests, Spicy Market, a lot of food is quite spicy but it's very very good.
M: Do you like their food?
P: Yeah, very good. Um, they have, er they have like red curry, green curry, and tom yam kung soup and it's very good and it's kind of nice atmosphere as well.
M: OK. Do you have other recommendation?
P: Other recomendation? Ok. Umm, I would say, um, Akatanuki. It's a kind of , I suppose, Japanese food and drink bar, Izakaya, but uh...
M: I know Akatanuki.
P: Do you.
M: That's Ojisan Izakaya！！！
P: I am Ojisan, so it's ok. But I like it because, very relaxed, you can go and just drink and eat. It's cheap and food is good, and I can get good atmosphere, so..
M: Ok, can you eat raw fish?
P: Umm, ya, no problem. Um, when I first came to Japan, I couldn't eat raw fish. I didn't like it, but now it's ok. But I still don't like wasabi.
M: Pardon?
P: I still don't like wasabi.
M: Wasabi?
P: Japanese kind of green mustard.
Third recommendation would be a place called Maya.
M: Maya?
P: Maya.
M: What kind of restaurant?
P: It's, say, a curry restaurant, maybe Indian or Nepalese, in kind of little bit far out of Niigata city, in Yokogoshi. They have a, you can get kind of Indian style curry, and nahn bread. Um, it's pretty much favorite curry place in Niigata.
M: How do you know Maya?
P: Um, maybe my friend recommended.
M: I see. Then, thank you so much.
P: You're welcome.

I: Please introduce yourself.

K: My name is Kevin Maher and I teach at Keiwa college in Shibata, and I'm from the United States then I'm living in Japan now.

I: How long have you been in Japan?

K: I arrived in March, so I've only been here for a few month.

I: Oh, few month.

K: Yeah.

I: OK, so what are you doing on the weekend?

K: The weekends, usually a lot of I stay home and sometimes I try to travel and go somewhere different in Japan so far usually Tokyo and different places.

I: OK. Am.. Did you go anywhere in Niigata?

K: Niigata... I went to the Kite festival.

I: Kite? ah.

K: Shihone?

I: Shirone.

K: Yeah, Shirone.

I Shirone.

K: I went there and usually this Niigata in there so I still did see more.

I: OK. So what do you do on...at home, like in your free time?

K: Usually at home, um...usually I prepare for my classes, so I usually do that or I read some books or I use the internet. I have some movies that I have that a play sometimes. That much pretty nomal.

I: OK. Thank you.

K: Yeah, you're welcome.
