‘Mapping Beyond the Grid’ is a series of conversation with women and queer geographers from India, on their life journey, struggles and contributions in the making of Indian academic geography. This is an initiative from the Editorial board of 'Akshansh', the annual journal of the Department of Geography, Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi. Each episode of this decolonization project tries to build an alternative archaeology of geographical knowledge.

Behind "Geography and You": Conversation with Ms. Sulagna Chattopadhyay
In vain have you acquired knowledge if you have not imparted it to others. The publishers play an important role in circulating and making the knowledge accessible to all. Ms. Sulagna Chattopadhyay, the founding-editor of journo-magazine 'Geography and You' narrates her experiences in instituting a popular geography magazine in India. She also takes the discussion to one of the most emerging concerns of our time - the climate change and India’s role in it.
