How To Use Grounding To Negotiate

How To Use Grounding To Negotiate

I never even understood what emotional grounding was. All I knew was I lived up in my head a lot.  On this episode we'll talk a little about the effects of traumas and how we can use a simple technique in a moment to get "out of our head" and back into the present when traumas have us wanting to fight, flight, freeze or fawn.

    It's all about 5, 4, 3, 2, 2

Should you take a big step in your wholeness for Someone Else?

Should you take a big step in your wholeness for Someone Else?

Another authentic moment in the journey.  When I first started to negotiate my life toward wholeness I didn't want to do it.  I was actually made to do it by my wife.  She gave me the ultimatum of go or "go!" and I knew what she meant.

But the question is, "Will any journey toward health work if we are doing it for someone else?"  What if the motive isn't right?

That's what we'll talk about today as we Negotiate our Lives.

    Negotiating Your Life to Wholeness

    Negotiating Your Life to Wholeness

After a year of a fairly private journey toward wholeness, I've decided to return and repurpose this podcast with a new season.

We're still talking about "negotiating life" but, for this next season, we will talk about the various tools I've learned to negotiate the pains and traumas of life into wholeness.

I am not a therapist, nor do I play one on TV.  What I am is a man who hid or hustled until he could do neither any longer.  I have faced many of the traumas that led to a breaking point in 2021 and am ready to share the journey as well as what I've learned so far.  I have not arrived and never will.  In fact there is much pain still being healed on a daily basis.

But where there are now scars or scabs instead of open wounds I will share them for the person who, like me, has been asking "What was my life supposed to be before _________".

I don't know all of the answers but I do know the new ways I'm negotiating life are making life a much more joyful journey.

Episode #16: What's Stopping You From Connecting

Episode #16: What's Stopping You From Connecting

Being good does not equal making an impact.  The right words, the right content, and the right products don't mean you'll make the right connection.

This week Jeremy will discuss the three reasons you may know all you need to know and fail to connect with your people.

If you'll make this shift, you'll have more influence, more impact, and more of what you want out of the relationships you want.
