For this week's main podcast review, I am joined by Dan Bayer, Sara Clements, Cody Dericks, Giovanni Lago & guest Lauren Cohen. Today, we are reviewing the latest film from Luca Guadagnino, "Challengers," starring Zendaya, Josh O'Connor & Mike Faist. Hot, sweaty, sexy, dramatic, and exhilarating are some of the words that have been used to describe this steamy love triangle set in the sports world of tennis. But what did we think of it, though? Tune in to find out as we discuss the writing, direction, performances, thumping score, and more in our SPOILER-FILLED review. Thank you for listening, and enjoy!

Our 2010 retrospective continues with Lisa Cholodenko's Best Picture nominee "The Kids Are All Right," starring Annette Bening, Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo, Mia Wasikowska & Josh Hutcherson. At the time of its release, this was considered a progressive LBGT film that went mainstream with not just critics but with the Academy (and was a box office hit relative to its budget); how does the film hold up today fourteen years later? Tune in as I, Josh Parham, Dan Bayer & Patreon guest Jack Greenwood discuss our thoughts on the writing, performances, its awards season run, and more in our SPOILER-FILLED review. Thank you for all your support, and enjoy!

"Boy Kills World" had its world premiere at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival, where it received positive reactions for its bonkers creativity, wild action, and bloody violence. Filmmaker Moritz Mohr was kind enough to spend some time talking with us about his directorial debut, which had a proof of concept so wild and imaginative it managed to bring Sam Raimi on board as a producer, and Bill Skarsgård, Jessica Rothe, Michelle Dockery, Famke Janssen, Sharlto Copley, Brett Gelman, Isaiah Mustafa, and Andrew Koji to star. Please be sure to check out the film, which will be released this weekend in theaters from Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions. Thank you and enjoy!

Interview With "Challengers" Screenwriter Justin Kuritzkes
SIGN UP FOR REGAL UNLIMITED W/ PROMO CODE - REGALNBP24 - https://regmovies.onelink.me/4207629222/q4j9urzs
"Challengers" was initially supposed to have its world premiere at the 2023 Venice International Film Festival before it was delayed to the spring of 2024 due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes. Now, Luca Guadagnino's latest is finally coming to theaters this weekend, starring Zendaya, Josh O'Connor, and Mike Faist. Screenwriter Justin Kuritzkes was kind enough to spend some time talking with us about his inspiration for the film, some of the choices he made with the characters and narrative structure, his support for his wife, Celine Song, during her awards season run for "Past Lives," a tease for his next collaboration with Guadgnino on "Queer" starring Daniel Craig and more. Please be sure to check out the film, and be careful as there is one question (there's a warning before it's asked) during the interview, which is a spoiler. Thank you, and enjoy!
