One Step Back encourages others to reflect on their daily lives and learn something new. A high school teenager shares his thoughts to let his/other's experiences serve as a guide to others and help them. Eric spreads awareness to others by helping them become more open-minded about our world and to understand that each person has their own story to tell. This podcast invites special guests to speak about their experiences and give advice, and also talks about important events/news that need to be emphasized more, as well as everyday activities that require us all to take; One. Step. Back.

Episode #1: Smiling Through The Pain
In the first episode of One Step Back, a high school teenager describes his experiences with his family and how it affected him. Eric, a rising senior, details the many events that occurred as well as their impact on his development. He introduces himself in the first episode, which describes the theme of masking the pain with a simple smile. Through this episode, Eric entails his audience with the adventure of his life, with his own thoughts on how to deal with the problems we all struggle with internally in life.
