A kindergarten instructional assistant, Gloria was a teacher for 27 years! She expresses her sentiments about staying for the sake of the young children, as well as her joy and recollections of sharing the wonder that children have in literature. Gloria discovered that her personal experiences with her childhood teachers influenced her decision to become an educator. Gloria believed her teachers inspired her because they demonstrated love, wisdom, and a desire to see others achieve.
