The second podcast episode in the SDC takeover series focuses on how actively developing and improving digital skills can help students gain valuable career and employability skills for future job prospects. The episode centres on a discussion with our special guest, Roise Pelan, who is currently a Legal Professional at Baker McKenzie after graduating from Queen’s with a Law degree in July. Wellbeing in the Curriculum
Alan talks about how he was first introduced to mindfulness and how this inspired him to set up a 6 week mindfulness course during the pandemic. Alan talks about the positive and challenges of hosting it online and discusses the key learnings he got from the experience.

6. Universal Design for Learning in the Curriculum
In this episode we are joined with Tracy Galvin & Jen McParland from Centre of Educational Development (CED) and Jennifer Roberts, a lecturer from the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work. We get their understanding of what Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is and how educators should now be thinking about incorporating it into the Curriculum.
