[Part 4/4] How to 3x Your Learning with Deliberate Practice

[Part 4/4] How to 3x Your Learning with Deliberate Practice

How can we keep our motivation to keep learning STRONG? Well, motivation comes from seeing progress and getting results.

Think about it. The first time you had a real conversation…

I bet you were so excited! But you were also motivated to study, practice, and continue improving.

Or when you heard a new word or phrase that you recently learned…

And you actually UNDERSTOOD the movie scene because of it.

This motivated you to discover MORE of these words and phrases so you could have more experiences like this one.

In this episode, we will explain how focusing on the right activities and getting the right type of feedback can be a game changer!

Topics are good, but ears don’t feel comfortable

The topics and conversation contents are quite good, but sorry to say that the audio quality is not so good as my ears are not feeling comfortable when listening. Would be really appreciated if the audio a quality could be improved.

Megumi 789

She sounds a tad bit manipulating.

I personally feel weird about the way she prompts him to speak. In every episode, she repeatedly asks him questions to which they both already know the answers…like how mom would talk to her little son.

Even though she is the host of the podcast and is supposed to lead the conversation, that can come across as patronizing, controlling and dismissive toward this grown-up man at times.

Maybe that’s how they talk to each other and they are completely fine with it. I assume that’s their version of “natural” conversations…I’d prefer more spontaneous interactions.

I love this podcast

I've been learning English for years, but my seeking skill is terrible. So I started listening to this podcast. Their conversations are really fun and understandable. I entered their mailing list so that I get transcripts and audio. They're so good and help my English study. I highly recommend this podcast to English learners.
