    Saul Talk: Greenhouse Gas Emissions in PA

    In this episode of Saul Talk, the Class of 2021 Natural Resources Management students at W.B. Saul High School of Agricultural Sciences explore proposed Greenhouse Gas Emissions reform in Pennsylvania as it relates to the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI). RGGI, is the first mandatory market-based program in the United States to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, is a cooperative effort among the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia to cap and reduce CO2 emissions from the power sector. By participating in RGGI Pennsylvania will reduce climate pollution from carbon emissions by a massive 188 million tons by 2030.

    In this episode of Saul Talk, the Class of 2021 Natural Resources Management students at W.B. Saul High School of Agricultural Sciences continue to debate and explores Philadelphia Water Department's water quality and debates whether Bottled Water is better to use versus the Tap water that comes to your home. This episode also includes a PSA produced by the class of 2021 encouraging viewers to drink tap by conducting tap vs bottled water taste test.

This episode includes an in-depth conversation with the Policy and Program Coordinator of Environmental Justice for the Philadelphia Office of Sustainability.
