Shaking Cancer Greg Fry

In his book, Cycle of Lives, David Richman tells the stories of 15 people, from patients to caregivers, who saw their lives change because of cancer. David biked around the country to share these stories, and talks about the book and his personal experiences with cancer that showed him how important it is to share our stories. 

Cal Walker is known by many in his community as a man with seemingly endless energy. Cancer nearly took all that energy away, but Cal, with faith and a history of good health, was able to counter the effects of the disease. He shares his story, from a difficult process to diagnose his illness, to his incredible fight against cancer, and the new perspectives that fight brought to his life. 

The World's Longest Game was first held in 2003. Brent Saik started these games to raise money and awareness for life-changing cancer research and support. With another game completed in 2021, they've successfully raised millions, and similar events have been organized in other locations. More than 10 years later, Rob shares the story of his difficult battle with brain cancer, including the story of how reality set in about his diagnosis, how he responded to treatment, and how he's now helping to inspire others through his work. 

Alex was 15 when he was diagnosed with cancer. He tells his story, shares the moments that have motivated him, and talks about cancer's power to bring us together in so many ways.
